How to Establish an Early Flood Warning System

Flash floods are one of the most common and devastating natural disasters in the world. Often with very little warning, a flood can quickly result in catastrophic losses of life and property. While flooding can never fully be prevented, a flood alert monitoring system allows its worst effects to be mitigated. An effective early flood warning system can help local authorities save lives and prevent property damage by monitoring water level, velocity, and precipitation, and triggering alerts when these parameters are breached.

How to deliver information to local residents.

 

Using the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications, to deliver information to the public via the LCD display to be installed on the road, tunnel and local residential areas. The GSM also can send alerts to users via SMS, auto-dialers (phone) and email, Depending on the urgency of the alarm and the communication access to users.

Week 2 "Get a new advisor"

 The second week I got the news that Mr. Azlan will reduce the students under supervision to make room for new lecturers. I decided to choose Sir Suhaimi Bahisham B Jusoh @ Yusoff as new adviser. He has worked as engineer at MIMOS BHD and still new in field of education but still have a very brilliant idea and high commitment. This week I discussed the idea of ​​the project and asked for his opinion. My idea is to create a system that can control the flow of the river from overflowing. This system is useful to countries such as Malaysia khalustiwa climates. My system will also use the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications, originally Groupe Special Mobile) to liaise with the local community.
